Mr. Bob Makukunzva
Mr. Bob Makukunzva is the Director and Managing Partner of B. Makukunzva Attorneys with more than 17 years’ post-admission experience. He oversees the firm’s operations and leads its Tax Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Forensic Investigations, and Employment Law divisions.
Bob advises private and public sector clients across Tax, Construction, Engineering, Energy and Gas, Corporate Governance and Malpractice, Commercial Transactions and deal mapping, Public Procurement, Forensic Investigations, and Debt Recovery.
He serves on boards, tribunals and committees that focus on resolving tax disputes, investigating and prosecuting professional misconduct, and upholding professional ethics. A recognised commentator on Competition Law, he has featured on CNBC Africa and Power 98.7 discussing issues such as price gouging during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He is also the author of a Google Books-listed publication on the regulation of unit trusts and collective investments in South Africa. Earlier in his career, he contributed to drafting South Africa’s ICT B-BBEE Charter in 2004 and held director roles in Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution at leading firms with offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Johannesburg.
Ms. Dineo Monethi
Ms. Monethi is a Senior Associate at B. Makukunzva Attorneys. She completed her LLB and LLM in Private Law from the University of the Free State in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Upon serving her articles in the Commercial Law Department where she was exposed to various commercial agreements, corporate and personal estate restructuring and fiduciary affairs, she was admitted as an attorney in 2022.
She has vast experience in Corporate and Commercial law, Civil Law, Trust law as well as Wills and Estates matters. Ms. Monethi has also appeared in the Magistrates’ Courts and assisted counsel in various High Court matters. She is responsible for drafting legal documents, the management of case files, conducting research, and providing support in various cases. Her practice areas include Corporate and Commercial Law, Tax Law, Civil Litigation and related fields.
Mr. Chris Motaung
Mr. Motaung is an associate attorney at B. Makukunzva Attorneys, who obtained his LLB from the University of the Free State in 2022. His current role involves attending to the day-to-day activities of a Commercial Law firm, such as drafting legal documents, research, case analysis and preparation of various litigious matters. He has general experience in Forensic Investigations, Commercial Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Administration of Deceased Estates and Administrative Law.
Ms. Keamogetswe Seleka
Keamogetswe Seleka is a Paralegal at B. Makukunzva Attorneys Inc. with 3 years of experience supporting attorneys across Commercial and Corporate Law, Civil Litigation and related matters. She conducts legal research, drafts and reviews pleadings and correspondence, manages filings and service, and liaises directly with clients, including intake interviews. Her casework spans civil disputes, debt-equity finance and commercial matters, where she assists with preparing proceedings and monthly client reports, as well as personal injury claims, including RAF submissions and compiling counsel’s briefs.
Currently completing a Diploma in Paralegal Studies at the University of Johannesburg (2025), she blends practical exposure with academic training to deliver accurate, efficient and professional support throughout the litigation and advisory process.
